AMKOR operates strictly as an intermediary and visa documentation facilitator between the Client and the concerned Embassy, Consulate, Visa Application Center (VAC), accredited operator, or authorized third-party processor. AMKOR is not a visa-issuing authority and has no power to approve, deny, influence, or expedite visa decisions. All visa outcomes, including approval, denial, administrative review, additional document requests, or release timelines, remain solely at the discretion of the issuing authority.
All visa-related payments, including but not limited to embassy fees, visa center charges, biometrics fees, courier fees, and AMKOR professional service fees, are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable once paid, regardless of cancellation, withdrawal, denial, delay, or non-release of the visa. Service fees are deemed earned once documentation review, appointment scheduling, or submission coordination has commenced. Processing shall begin only upon full payment. No payment, no processing. In cases of force majeure events, including but not limited to war, civil unrest, government restrictions, or similar circumstances beyond control, all payments made shall remain non-refundable as services rendered and third-party costs incurred are non-recoverable.
Any unused or un-availed visa payment may be reused only within three (3) months from the original payment date. After three (3) months, such payment shall be automatically forfeited and may no longer be reused, transferred, credited, or applied to any subsequent application.
Once a visa application has been officially lodged or submitted to the Embassy or Visa Application Center, strictly no cancellation and no passport pull-out shall be permitted unless expressly authorized by the issuing authority. The Client acknowledges that lodged applications are subject to Embassy rules beyond AMKOR’s control.
Visa processing times are estimates only and may vary without prior notice due to Embassy assessment procedures, internal requirements, public holidays, system limitations, government directives, or unforeseen events. AMKOR shall not be liable if the visa is not issued or released prior to the Client’s intended travel date.
Original documents submitted to the Embassy are generally not returned except for passports. The Embassy may request additional documents at any stage, and the Client undertakes to comply. Failure to comply may affect processing or result in denial, for which AMKOR shall not be responsible.
While passports and documents are in AMKOR’s direct custody, they are handled with reasonable care and security safeguards. Upon submission to Embassies, Visa Centers, or third-party courier providers, custody transfers to the receiving entity. AMKOR shall not be liable for loss, delay, or damage caused by Embassies, Visa Centers, courier services, government authorities, or force majeure events not attributable to its negligence.
If claiming personally:
- Original Official Receipt
- Valid government-issued ID
If claimed by an authorized representative:
- Original Official Receipt
- Valid ID of Representative
- Copy of Applicant’s Valid ID
- Signed Authorization Letter
Failure to claim passports or documents within the advised period shall incur a storage fee of PHP 100 per day per applicant, counted from the first day of delay until actual claiming. AMKOR reserves the right to withhold release until applicable charges are settled. AMKOR will not disclose visa application reference numbers or results through unsecured channels in order to protect personal and sensitive personal data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and applicable NPC regulations.
By submitting documents, the Client voluntarily provides personal and sensitive personal information necessary for visa processing and consents to its lawful collection, use, storage, processing, and transmission strictly for legitimate purposes including visa facilitation, coordination with Embassies and Visa Centers, regulatory compliance, fraud prevention, and related travel services. Personal data may be shared only with Embassies, Consular Offices, accredited visa centers, courier providers, partner agencies when required, airlines, hotels, insurance providers, and government authorities as necessary for lawful processing. AMKOR implements reasonable organizational, physical, and technical safeguards and retains personal data only for the period allowed by law, after which it is securely disposed of.
All documents submitted for visa checking, assessment, or lodging must be provided in printed hard-copy format. Where the Embassy requires original documents, the Client must submit the original physical copies. AMKOR does not accept document checking via email, messaging applications, or digital screenshots unless specifically required by Embassy policy. AMKOR does not print visa photos, financial documents, or application requirements on behalf of the Client. All requirements must be prepared and submitted as complete hard copies prior to review and processing.
In cases where AMKOR is unable to directly process or secure visa appointments due to limited Embassy slots, accreditation restrictions, operational constraints, regulatory limitations, or similar circumstances beyond its reasonable control, AMKOR may coordinate with, refer to, or lodge the application through an accredited partner travel agency, authorized visa processing operator, or third-party service provider solely for the purpose of fulfilling the requested visa service. Such entities operate independently under their own policies and procedures. Personal data shared shall be limited strictly to what is necessary for lawful visa processing in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012. AMKOR shall exercise reasonable due diligence in selecting such partners but shall not be liable for actions, delays, or decisions attributable to independent third-party processors.
The Client warrants that all information and documents submitted are true, authentic, complete, and not falsified. Submission of fraudulent, altered, or misleading documents shall result in immediate refusal or discontinuation of service without refund and may expose the Client to legal consequences.
AMKOR reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate services in cases involving fraud, misrepresentation, abusive or hostile behavior, or conduct that poses legal, reputational, or accreditation risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by Philippine law, AMKOR’s liability, if legally established, shall be limited solely to the professional visa service fees paid for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim. AMKOR shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including missed travel, airline penalties, or immigration consequences. These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the proper courts of the Philippines.
The Client acknowledges that these Terms and Conditions were made available prior to payment and form an integral part of the transaction. Payment constitutes full acceptance of these Terms.
